I don't particularly like Sponge Bob....his laugh irritates me

But i don't know of any reason that it would be wrong to watch it.

Aah, i suppose one must watch with much discretion or possibly not watch those particular episodes, or not watch at all. There are some programs that i tune out parts of them, or if mostly objectionable because the entire premise of it is to push an agenda, i don't watch at all. I've seen episodes of Sponge Bob that are just zany and silly that were not necessarily offensive. If however, there are some offensive episodes, it possibly would be best not to watch it.

From my experience I had no problems watching Spongebob when I was young. {The older episodes} Although now I had found out that it, along with other cartoons, have
subliminal messages in them. In general, not just with Spongebob, I just over look the bad stuff. Like a sex scene in a movie. If it is too much for me to bear I simply turn my head. If its too bad I don't watch the movie at all.

Also: I don't think Spongebob is evil. Maybe a dark side to it but not like wicked evil. Unclean like how some animals are unclean to eat but it doesn't make the animal evil. Just unclean.
