Do you think evolution is a religion? why or why not?

I think most people will agree that creationism is religion enforced by scientific theory. I also think thatevolutionism is scientific theory held up mainly by religion. what do you think?

I will never understand why people think that a freakin scientific theory is a religion. I guess cause people believe in evolution it has to be a religion, well I believe in gravity so I guess that is a religion also.

you believe in evolution like I believe in creation. You have faith that its true (otherwise you wouldn't be backing it up) and I have the same sort of faith for creationism.

I think you flatter creationism. I have yet to see it "enforced" by science whatsoever.

I think you have a convenient view of evolution. That is, it is convenient for those who still want to find a way to put religion in the class-room. Of course, the view of evolution as "part religious" is baloney, but since the attempt to make creationism seem scientific failed, it is the only avenue left to those who want their religious views of creation taught by public schools.

The confusion here is a misconception you seem to hold:

you believe in evolution like I believe in creation. You have faith that its true (otherwise you wouldn't be backing it up) and I have the same sort of faith for creationism.

Sure seesaw might believe in evolution in the way you hold your religious beliefs, but he probably does not. Science and religion are two separate and wildly different means of deciding what to believe. The religious method is the acceptance of what is purported to be "revealed truth." The scientific method is the effort to discover facts about nature by investigating nature.

Evolution is was discovered by science. Creationism was created by religion.

Ok so I have faith in Theory of Evolution it's a religion? So sense I have faith in Theory of Gravity it's also a religion?

Using the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th definitions, Evolution can be viewed as a religion.  Plus, Evolutionists will try to extract philosophical and moral ideals from Evolution, so it is a religion in that sense too.

Yeah people do love crack, and alchohol, but I don't feel the same for the theory of evolution.

When did I say that? I became an atheist based on things that happen in my life. I found science about 4 years later. Well that is when I got into it.

Nope I don't worship science love to learn science I don't love, and worship science.

So anything someone believe in is a religion like someone could say I believe in little green men from mars so that is there religon.

Wishful thinking lol do you even know evolution. There is so much evidence, but wait it's not evidence of a speices giving birth to an completely new speices so it's not good evidence.
