Hello guys!
2 years ago I made a similar thread and got interesting responses.
SO here we go once again:
What kind of music you make?
How did you start it and why do you continue?

As for me I make electronic music, it varies but it's mainly electronic rock, dubstep and DnB rock with some occasional classical influences.
I talked with the guy from nevertines and he unleashes some of his secrets:
FL Studio I like music and would like to survive for(and from) it.

EDIT:
I started this thread in order to have a musical oriented discussion, give and receive tips based on the song at matter and have a good time while discussing and helping each-other with our hobbies.

How did you start it and why do you continue? I would make up improvised lyrics to go along with my dad playing the guitar when I was little and then began to learn actual songs. In the 9th grade I needed to write a couple of songs for a class project. The feedback I received was positive and encouraging, and so I started writing more songs.

Use doubletracking on the guitar and your voice, lower the mid frequency a bit on the quitar and lower the volume of the bass. Did I ear you speak swedish at one time?
Your voice is OK it's not bad at all, I see no need of using autotune, maybe a little manual tuning there and there but overall the voice is OK, truth is most of us hate our voice when we hear ourselves trough mics so you just have to get used to it.

The lyrics are cheesy, they are average, still more sophisticated than nicki minaj, justin bieber, lady gaga so that's going for you.
You need a better mic, the one you are using is garbage, along with the bad mixing and mastering it sounds horrid at times, however mastering a bad microphone is really hard so I'd suggest buying a better mic:

They are both USB mics so you just plug them in and rock 'n roll

As you can see getting a good sounding mic doesn't really cost much, but I think it's a REQUIRED step if you want to move forward with the quality of your songs.
Obviously you need to learn to doubletrack and some other known tricks to make the sound wider. You can either search on youtube or I can help you to a certain degree.

You might think that I don't sound encouraging, but the fact that I spent time criticising and looking around for some mics means that I can definitely see potential in you.

I'm 17 now and have evolved since then, though, those songs were heartfelt to me at the time and I'm still proud of them. They encapsulate some of my feelings at that age. I didn't use any microphone with either of those songs. I'm sorry; I should have been clearer. One was recorded on my iPad and not edited at all, and the other from my laptop and edited very simply on GarageBand. I've never used autotune. Both of those songs are in English. At the very end of "With the Wind" you can very faintly hear my stepdad knocking on the door and asking me a question in German. It's why in the video you can see my eyes roll, ha. The lyrics are totally written and performed in English, and I'm an American. He's German, but I'm not. I now have a MXL USB mic, but it's glitchy because the USB cord is messed up. It makes recording with it frustrating so I haven't made much lately. I'll get around to replacing it. Thanks for the links.

I have newer songs I've performed as well as ones I've written on my ReverbNation page and even more on YT, but I won't share my YouTube account here for privacy reasons. Songwriting is actually a little paying gig for me now thanks to having friends at church who are professional musicians and have performed on some cool soundtracks and promos. It doesn't pay much but it beats typical teen after school jobs. So I have stepped up my game a wee bit since I was a kid. Anyhooooooo.
