The warnings against sin are meaningless, as sins have not even been shown to exist.

It's like a bridge out sign in the middle of Death Valley. There's flat ground all around, nobody can see where a bridge is needed, let alone there, let alone damaged.

Sorry, no. God inspired the original scriptures to be penned in hebrew, aramaic, and greek.
Source?

The english versions are in some cases translations but in most cases transliterations.
I sincerly doubt that most English versions of the Bible are transliterations, since the reader would still need knowledge of Greek to understand it.
Original . . . . . . . . . Transliteration . . . . . . . . . Transcription . . . . . . . . Translation
я говорю . . . . . . . . . Ya govoryu . . . . . . . . . . . . Ya ga-va-ryoo . . . . . . . . I speak

Perhaps instead of 'transliteration' you mean 'literal translation'?

Transliterate was the wrong word to use. Here is the meaning of what I was saying. Some translate word for word, sticking to the exact meaning of the words so you can't play with them. Others "translate" concepts or phrases, which allow them to play with the actual meaning as they are more or less paraphrasing as opposed to translating. That type of so called translation fosters errors in arriving at the actual meaning.

No natural language can be translated word for word into another natural language and retain the exact meaning of the original text. The risk of error is greater, but, given sufficient fluency in both languages, translating the phrases and concepts is much better at retaining the important bits.
For example: how does one translate an idiom word-for-word and retain the meaning?
