But as a believer in the Bible, I don't have to accept those who say it was depression and/or drugs.
And for the record, I'm thankful for the likes of Frances Kelsey, who didn't accept the findings of her peers.
She didn't cave in to scientists and, in fact, ordered them back into the lab, or she wasn't going to give her approval on something they came up with.

I know she was a scientist.You miss the point.
She was a scientist: she (a scientist) fought the FDA. It was a scientist (i.e. her) that stopped the drug from being used.
You seem to have not realised that SHE was a SCIENTIST. So we can conclude that science self corrected itself.
