Never said it wasn't true. Truth is in quotes because his truth is spiteful and exaggerated and generalizes and entire group of people.

Very nice, I'm gonna use it as a sig in other forums. That list helped me a little with my way of thinking too.

As a Christian, I enjoy the truth. And D didn't say anything that isn't true. The majority of the same group feels insulted, demeaned and stereotyped when I quote Scripture too.

There just seems to be a mass aversion toward truth in this forum.

Alright then, I suggest you no longer oppose those who try to point out truth by making the same lists or using the same sarcasm towards any of your behavior, because everyone averts truth if it emphasizes their wrong. Either way, this list is still childish. And by reposting it, you're technically spamming.

You've read something into the Scripture that it does not say. Contextually dealing with the text and what it DOES say, He stopped creating after the sixth day. It does not say that God was tired.



There is nothing that is other than the fact that God allows it to be. God does not fashion evil. But it surely results as the result of man's sin. That sin leads to death.




Take this in the context of the FULL COUNSEL of God's Word.

When I see people making all these lists, it is obvious that there is confusion about what you think God said in the OT. But the confusion arises because while you use the OT to make your point, you neglect the NT making the Word complete.

For one...let's look at the flood and creation.

For one, for the past millenia, the church hasn't taught a literal flood. In fact, the Catholic church abandoned it in the 1200's. Why?

It's not scientific. Simply put, that much water can't exist on Earth. It's called logic! The water bubble vapor thingy around the Earth doesn't work either, as it would make Earth have a Venus-like temperature and atmosphere.

On the 7th day, God rested. I'd say that's a bit of a contradiction. I'm just saying.

And yes, you'd have to believe the Earth was the center of the universe "

While we see this at foolish, at one point, this was interpreted in such a way that it meant the sun obviously must be moving around the Earth. When scientists came out to disprove this, they were persecuted by conservatives.

You see, you conservatives are on the losing end of history. 700 years ago, the Church taught that the Earth was the center ofthe universe, disease was from demons, Satan was literally walking the Earth and a host of other superstitions. As time's went on, those have been thrown on the trash-heap of history by liberals who have proven how thsoe ideas were impossble. In turn, you conservatives have persecuted and hated these liberals.

When I say that you don't care about peace, love and understanding, I mean it.

You want to go out and tell everyone of their sins, and how bad they are, and how you "nobly struggle to serve Christ". You're all about creating division and guilt and discontent in people, because you think that's what brings people to Christ. Meanwhile, I go out and I'm full of joy. I don't tell people they're failures int he way you do. I simply preach a simple doctrine.

"We're all sinners, we've all sinned. End of story. Christ died on the cross to save us, and by doing that he frees us of sin. No need to feel guilty for your mistakes. Place trust in Jesus to save you and that's what you must do. Do what EVER you need to to do to come closer to Christ."

I care about seeing peace, and harmony. Unlike you, I'm not going to get preoccupied over people's mistakes. They make them, I make them, everyone screws up somehow. Because of this, I haven't the right to guilt-trip people.

Actually, the Liberal Truths were compiled as a response to the "Fundie List" that was created first. So you are right, what is good for the goose is good for the gander... except that the liberals got offended.

I'm NOT uncomfortable with your lifestyle. You have the right to live any way you please. I just state my opinion that the Bible says that homosexual behavior is sin. You can agree or disagree, but that's my opinion. You are entitled to yours.
