It looks like the Progressive SDA Sub-forum declaration of independence is also biting the dust along with the FSRs.

As far as the FSRs goes, the announcement includes the following:

This in effect is saying that the FSRs can become FSGs in which there may not necessarily be any infractions, but there may be requests for posts, threads to be moved, edited, or deleted.

As we are now into another transition phase, it will be interesting to see how this actually unfolds.

Now that the SDA RULES have become merely SUGGESTED GUIDELINES, we are not under any obligation to follow those GUIDELINES which do not fall under the site-wide umbrella. Therefore, Daryl has no call to grab us by the throat and bring us to our knees by wording the stickies in such a way that suggests we are EXPECTED to submit and grovel to what are merely GUIDELINES. Moreover, we cannot, under the new site format, be given RV's or bans for not submitting to the added GUIDELINES.

Furthermore, this ban is unjustified under the new format and I should be released without delay. I cannot be held here for choosing to ignore GUIDELINES. The most that I can be nailed with is to edit or delete a post.

Now that the SDA banning/RV system is toast, anyone who is currently being punished under the SDA system and has not violated site-wide rules is required to be granted pardon immediately!!!

FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOM!!

We have yet to see how some of these changes will work out in the congregational areas practically, but I'm glad that everyone is under a set of simpler general rules again. I'm not sure yet how all of this will affect the FSBs like yours, Night, that were issued under the old system.

You could say that the FSBs were a lot less severe than what's taking its place, as well as the fact that, as these are site wide, not even the PSDA Sub-forum will be a safe haven from any of this.

The PSDA forum never was a safe-haven from the rules. They were always under site wide rules. The rules just didn't have much teeth at the time.

The attempt to color the PSDA forum as wanting lawlessness is an attempt to change the truth. that was started by some who resented the PSDA's not going under their particular rules.
