Isaiah 14:12. So, thank you for the enlightenment on this possible mistake...I will look into this further as it is an interesting subject.[
Don't thank me, thank God!
Even Ezekiel 28:11-19 which I believe is the best description and characterization of Satan only calls him "king of Tyre" and "cherub" in a number of ways. But, we know Ezekiel is speaking of Satan before his fall from grace through his sin of pride.
Are you not therefore mistaken, because you do not know the Scriptures nor the power of God (Mk. 12:24)? Test all things; hold fast what is good (Th. 5:21). ―Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right (Lu. 12:57)? Christ strongly warns us about our traditions (Mt. 15:3, 6, 9).

(Ac. 17:11), comparing Scripture with Scripture based on the original Greek and Hebrew words:

Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty

So you chose to ingore the scripture that teaches God is love and God is good. I don't. I believe in a loving and good God, not an evil one.
Are you trying to justify the wicked for a reward?

Do you not yet understand the word Destruction?

Do you think evil is good? Who do you think destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha? Will not God penalize the unjust?

Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right (Lu. 12:57)? Christ strongly warns us about our traditions (Mt. 15:3, 6, 9).

2Pe 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

24 Therefore as the fire devoures the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

2Pe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;

7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be penalized: [with everlasting and complete destruction]

Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting penal infliction: but the righteous into life eternal.

2Th 1:9 Who shall pay a penalty of everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

1Th 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction <ολεθρον> comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
ολεθρον destruction, ruin, desolation, annihilation (earlier (ME) as devastation): from L. devastat-, devastare, from de- 'thoroughly' + vastare 'lay waste'. ME: from L. destructio(n-), from destruere (see destroy).; ME: from OFr. destruire, based on L. destruct-, destruere, from de- (expressing reversal) + struere 'build' © Oxford University Press

=he-man;56602687]Are you trying to justify the wicked for a reward?
I don't understand this question.
Do you not yet understand the word Destruction?
I think I do, but God gives us life. The first life He gives is limited or mortal and we all die. Thus it is not required that God kill us for us to die. As to the soul we all kill our own soul with our own sin. Ezekiel 18. God does not kill us spiritually either. He will recreate us spiritually if we turn from wickedness to righteousness and if we do we will live and not die. Ezekeil 18.
Do you think evil is good?
No do you?

Who do you think destroyed Sodom and Gomorrha
?I don't believe that story is correct or true.

Will not God penalize the unjust?
Yes in the sense that He will not give them eternal life.
Why do you not judge for yourselves what is right (Lu. 12:57)? Christ strongly warns us about our traditions (Mt. 15:3, 6, 9).
This what I am doing. I think for myself and do not accept the traditions of men.

2Pe 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
Yes the destiny of evil men is oblivion.
13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
Correct--the wages of sin is death.

Isa 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
I agree. Do not tell me God is good and then tell me God is evil.

23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
I believe the wicked shall not recieve the gift of eternal life, but the righteous will.
Yes the destiny of the wicked is destruction.
2Pe 2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
I do not believe God ever got Himself into the trap of being sorry He created men and I don't think God ever killed anyone, and certainly not the whole of mankind except Noah and his family.
As I said I don't believe this story is true.
9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be penalized: [with everlasting and complete destruction]
Amen the destiny of the wicked is eternal destruction--non existence.
Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting penal infliction: but the righteous into life eternal.
No there will be no eternal penal infliction. There will be the absence of eternal life forever for the wicked.
2Th 1:9 Who shall pay a penalty of everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
That is correct, eternal destruction, not eternal penal infliction.

Yes eternal life is for the righteous, eternal lack of life for the wicked. Before you give me this picking and chosing argument, yes I plick and chose---and so does everyone else. The most fundamental literalist believer in the Bible continues to pick and chose which scriptures to believe and which to ignore.

Evil provides the essential framework for greater goods, and it makes it possible to display the greatest love.

"Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

How is this love possible without evils such as death and injustice? It is not! That why God creates evil, it is created for the sake of good. this seems counter intuitive to us, since when we create evil we do it for the sake of evil, If however I shoot a rampaing serial killer preventing him from doing harm to others, the evil of killing a man, given the context described, becomes a heroic act. This is similar to how we should think of God's participation with evil, the conext he acts in and the situations he creates transform evil into a slave of his perfect will, free only to produce the greater good he has in mind.
