I do think your motives are right. The trick is how to communicate your experience so it provides understanding to his new wife and not cause pain.
So I love your that you have the right motive. So it looks like the trick is to wait till its the right time to share your information. I'm thinking that
right time is in the future and if you wait at some point you will know now is the time.
