  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Aw, sweet! I have never painted on clothes before, but I have customized a few outfits! I am more into cutting stuff up, really. I think you can use any paint you want, though...I made really cool jeans once and I used my acrylic paints to make butterfly stencils on them. I sprayed them all over with fabric glitter, too! It was awesome. Good luck on your outfit! Make sure you post pics of it when you are done, too

I'm into fashion & sewing and I want to start decorating my own clothes. I think I'll start by buying plain tops and painting them, but I don't know which option would be better: spray painting or fabric paint?
Its difficult to say, one things for certain avoid spray paint because when you wash it it'll come off or spread around.

Ever thought of iron-on transfers? I used my computer and some iron transfer paper that can be bought in office supply stores like Staples to make a "custom" shirt for a 4 yr old I know. She loved it! You can use clip art, scan in photos, doodles from paintworks. They wash and wear really well.
