  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would like to Ariella but my return reps would have to be in the morning. We had some bad weather today and we were out for several hours to boot. I came online about an hour or so ago to 22 available reps but I didn't want to tie up my reps this late at night.

I've made a deal with iec and Ariel tonight. Iec repped me 4 times and Ariel 2. I'll be returning my reps to them in the morning. I can make the same deal with you if you like?

Cool. You'll need to post 2 more times for me some time tonight in here so I can rep ya in the morning. Okay writing you down on my rep sheet for 4 reps.

We were under a tornado watch until a few hours ago. I sat and watch TV for a little while to make sure everything was okay. Looked at the weather radar and it seemed to be all past us so I came online. I had my computer shut off and unplugged since about 3:30pm or there abouts.
