  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey everyone--I don't want us to lose track of this--

Please support this petition!

This is the petition to change the timing on our reps. Right now each rep is tied to a 24-hour limit, individually. This means that you don't get reps back until the times you used them individually the previous day.

For people like me with an irregular schedule, this makes repping difficult. For example, more than 20 of my reps come in tonight, almost my bedtime because I was late getting in from church yesterday. Tomorrow night they will be even later, because it takes me a while to use my reps. And the next night later, and so on.

I have asked that ALL our reps be given at once, once a day, every 24 hours, to be used during the day whenever we want--and have time. This would make so much more sense.

Please help and support this petition.

Every voice counts. Your support may be the final "vote" to finally persuade CF.

Mine is a little over 24,000. It's kind of an awkward swap. Regardless of how we swap it's not going to be fair to either one of us. Not sure what to offer. What do you suggest?

Oh that was for me to do 2 and you 3? I only have 6 reps at the moment so I was trying to spread it out until 5:35. I can do that one and still have 4 reps.

I can send my 2 now. I thought you were asking for 3 of mine and 2 of yours. With only 6 reps I was trying to spread my reps out until after 5:30. But I can do 2 reps!! Thank you.

Okay I sent my 2. Thank you. I have a 6 pm parent/teacher conference at our daughters school so if we swap it'll have to be either quick before I leave or when I get back. I have 4 that will come in between 5:35 and 5:38.
