  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They know the rules coming in to play. I would hate for you to not play. Please hon, don't feel that way. I mean I have more than some too but I'm not going to feel guilty about how many stars I have.

We've all worked hard to get these stars. And it wasn't just being out there begging for them either. Do not feel guilty for having your stars. You've earned them hon. I don't have any problems with swaping reps with those who have higher reppage than me.

I know how this game is played and I play knowing that I will be using my reps. As Nadiine has said time in and time out, those with no stars will do better on the open board. Not to mention there is a thread going to help them get their first star.

We just need to get others to come in to play. People at various levels of stars. Please don't not play. You do a lot to help those with less stars. You really do.

I don't think so beloved - I think it's the opposite, if you weren't here, we'd probly have less of them coming in than we do now.

We can only announce and invite them in but we can't force them to play. Plus it's early on Sunday morning - it's always slow on Sundays.

So far the average is still high with or without you here. Plus it's a fun thread & we have fun - I don't want to see you go becuz of people not wanting to play. I think if you weren't here we'd still have the same issue going on.

I don't have time now becuz I'm getting ready for church & then eating out after, but I'll pm you ok?

Don't even feel that way; you're a huge asset to this thread and I enjoy your support here in helping to keep it going.

So I'll offer you a 2 for 1!!!!!!!!!!
If you see this & want to do it you can pass a rep or just agree here & when I get home I'll pass you the 2.

Don't even leave becuz of this - esp. today when it's normally slow in this forum & we haven't done "advertising" much.

absolutely! (that's why I said they come here more becuz she does help them so much & is kind).
If not, they mite actually come less or not at all...
That's how I see it.

This thread is limited anyways - it benefits people with basically 3+ stars... lower than that are probly benefited more by the other threads for now.
This is just a specific thread that offers something different - it's not for everybody and not everybody even wants to play on this - it's not everybody's cup of tea.
Maybe they don't LIKE IT! that's possible too. The game itself with offering & dealing mite intimidate people by itself.
If higher reppers are leaving becuz of this then we'll end up with nobody at all eventually.
