We are on the mission field overseas…Our teenage daughter has suffered a traumatic experience about seven months ago. She is now living in the states with relatives. It is obvious to us that she is making decisions that will not help her grow in life. We want her to live with relatives whom we believe are more prepared to help her…and they want to help also. We want to help her in everyway we can…however, we don’t know for a fact that she will accept our help. She wants to do things on her terms…we want to do things on our terms. She is now 19 years old. As Christian parents we need to have a better understanding as to what are responsibilities are in this situation.
