No get away here. Mom had a stroke. Been doing the hospital thing and rehab thing. By the end of the day I could die. My brother in Grand Rapids is driving me nuts. Wants stuff this second if not sooner. Thinks I should stay with mom at the hospital from 9:00 in morning till 10;00 at night. Whats the deal with that!!?? Told him to get down here to she her. He then told me that he has no time for this foolishness. Again whats the deal with this??

Oh no! How is your mom doing? I'm so sorry your brother is not helping out at all. Praise God your mom has you by her side, wildthing! Saying a prayer for you!

I'm sorry to hear that. I'll pray for your mother's quick recovery.

You should tell your brother that this is no time to be a selfish ass and that he should think about someone besides himself for a change.

Or maybe you could say it with more brotherly love. Sorry... I'm dealing with the king of selfish and demanding right now and as usual, he's being condescending, rude, and downright irritating. Sometimes divorce can be a blessing.

Yesterday and today mom was ok. She knew who I was and knew my other brother. Although she still ask about my dad who passed away back in 1991. A few days ago she had no idea who I was but knew that I have two cats and knew what the Mackinaw Bridge was, I had just got done shooting some photos of it and I was showing them to her.

We go one day at a time with her. We understand that God has us in his hands and that He knows the very hour that we will be called home. I know when her time comes that she will be welcome back to home. This is something that we all look forward to when we have God as our havenly father.

As for my brother in Grand Rapids I think I will have special song played at the funeral for him "Cats in Cradle" Perhaps he will get the message.

Tonight (this morning) is one of those times I really wish I had a husband. I am sooo sleepy but I can't sleep because I had an awful nightmare! I wish I had a hubby to cuddle up with It's almost 5am now...

Living I am sorry to hear that you had a nightmare, I hope that you got some more rest this morning before it was time for you to get up.

But hey if not you always have the 11th commandment to fulfill, (its unwritten ) which is ~~ Tho shall take a nap between services on sunday afaternoon. hehe at lest it is in my house.

Thanks Tenor for the concern. I was able to get a little more sleep after I read a few psalms But when I woke up to get ready for church my head was hurting and has been since then. I finally got home to take some tylenol

Living I know how bad nightmares can get, I used to get them all the time. I still get scared here at my house. Living alone for the first few months were really hard and scarry. I mean I live in a good neighbor hood, and I know that my neighbors would whatch out fer me and all. But it still gets scarry.

I hope that your headache is better by know, and that you will be geting some well deserved rest. (I am just getting home myself from church, I make and entire day out of it).

But isnt it great the way that The Lord can settle our minds and spirits jsut by reading His Word. THat is why I consider His Word to be such a blessing to have and to be able to read. It can calm my spirit when nothing else can.

Yes, Tenor, it is great the way God can calm us down and give us peace when we just read His word and know it's true. I was reading psalm 23 over and over and it really helped me. I fell right asleep after reading it. My headache is fine now I took care of it after church this morning. Yah nightmares are awful. I normally don't have them or if I do they aren't that bad. Funny because you'd think I'd get them more often since the area of town I live in is not the safest part of town. My apartment complex has a nightly patrol thing and I am on the second floor with an alarm on the door and all, but still it's a bit difficult at times. I've actually been very blessed to have such peace about living alone.

Anyway, thanks everyone for the concern Ya'll are so sweet Flames I hope your insomnia doesn't plague you tonight and Tenor I hope you have sweet dreams as well tonight. God bless ya'll. Night

I'm glad to hear that you're feeling better. I'd take a nightmare over insomnia anyday! 3 months of this and counting... It's a wonder I have any capacity to function whatsoever.

Hey, has anyone noticed the phenomenon of the amazing disappearing threads? I could just be a little loopy or something, but I swear, I've posted in, like, 5 threads today that no longer exist...
