Don't know who you'd be hiding behind- this thread has been pretty dead for the last few days.

So I take it that everyone is out enjoying their summer? Where has everyone been? What kind of mischief and mayhem have you been indulging in?Anyone have plans for vacations or weekend getaways?

I personally have just been really busy lately, Between all the special music practices @ church, sunday school picinics, chior practices, thinking about what ministery area God wants me to serve in (full time maybe??), and putting up with this darn poison ivy outbreak, (aint never seen anything like it myself hopefully getting a cortizone shot in the moring to clear it up), my life has just been a whirlwind, WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-

I haven't really done anything this summer. This is my first summer out of college and I'm just trying to figure out how to raise my son and work a job that will allow us to be together (if I can find one first ). Otherwise I've been reading several books, watching tv, playing with my boy, playing xbox, and trying to understand a few things better. Exciting right?

I've been working a lot lately. I went to Hawaii about 3 weeks ago! That was great but it flew by so fast I barely remember it now.

Anyone have any dates lately?

On Tuesday Night. And dinner later this evening. Movie some evening next week. I wanted to go see The Village tomorrow night, but he'll be in San Diego all weekend for work and I should probably study anyway.

i didn't know he was going to pay until we got there! i did dress up so i could look cute though hehe. he bought me dinner too Is that how it goes with guys, if you pay for her then it's a date? I don't think I would have minded if it was, just wondering what the guys think

I wish you could've come! My friend has family over there... otherwise, I couldn't afford it either. It's so beautiful though! I love the aloha spirit!

I hear you.
When I was in college I liked this guy (he happened to be a tenor - tenors rule!)
We would go on outings like Christian concerts or just the mall.
I never knew if he was going to pay. I always had money on hand.
Sometimes he would pay and some times it was dutch treat.
I think he appreciated that I just went with the flow and never made an issue of it.

Yeah, 2 dates this week. What is it that Caelda called that? Speed Dating?

Anyway, we met at the Orange County Fair. He's a CPA, I've worked in Accounting/Payroll for a long time and we have a lot of other shared interests.
