yes but evolution creeped in schools and teaching kids we came from Monkeys - and thank God it is going to court - so there are problems when certain evolution theories go against God who is the Creator and kids would know there is a higher power to answer to - and that is kids without any parental advise - and there are millions of them. sorry.

I will repeat: This is not current evolutionary theory. It is a straw man raised by opponents.

I am relatively indifferent to C&E debates--I find them tedious and unedifying. But I dislike misrepresentations.

Evolution is a tree model. Not linear. Humans and "monkeys" share a common ancestor.

In 1859 Charles Darwin's published his theory of natural selection amid an explosion of controversy. Like the work of Copernicus in the 16th century revealing the movement of the Earth, Darwin's idea shook the foundations of the establishment and profoundly altered humanity's view of its place in the universe.

Today evolution is the unifying force in modern biology; it ties together fields as disparate as genetics, microbiology and palaeontology. It is an elegant and convincing explanation for the staggering diversity of Earth's five million or more living species.

Evolution has several facets. The first is the theory that all living species are the modified descendents of earlier species, and that we all share a common ancestor in the distant past. All species are therefore related via a vast tree of life. The second is that this evolution is driven by a process of natural selection or the - "survival of the fittest".

Darwin argued that all individuals struggle to survive on limited resourses, but some have small, heritable differences that give them a greater chance of surviving or reproducing, than individuals lacking these beneficial traits. Such individuals have a higher evolutionary fitness, and the useful traits they possess become more common in the population because more of their offspring survive.

Eventually these advantageous traits become the norm. Conversely, harmful traits are quickly eradicated as individuals that possess them are less likely to reproduce. Natural selection therefore works to create a population that is highly suited to its environment, and can adapt to changes.

I live in a really concervative Town - so if it is going on here - it is also going on other places.

And no Humans and Monkeys do not share ancestory - so you are saying Jesus came from a Monkey? nAHHHH sorry -

well it is going to court now - so hopefully we will see that the kids can be taught the truth like they did in early America founded by Christian roots - which had a Bible in every class which has changed so much since then.

His physical body did. Obviously he was a spirit before he came down and was born of the Blessed Virgin Mary. However, what the physical body of Jesus evolved from does not matter. God chose humanity as his special creation.

creationism are more about intelligent design - which only God could of made nobody else - evolution is from one man - not God - and Lucy was a fraud.

thanks but no thanks - I go what the Bible says - and what the prophets said - they even talked about SNOW??? so I would rather be safe and not think God made Adam into his image as a monkey - Is not God full of Light??? Monkeys are dark and hairy - spooky...
