  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I never vote on these shows but I think I will just so Stacy does not win. I read not only has she taken dance lessons since age 3 but she use to be a cheerleader with the Baltimore Ravens! They take alot of dance lessons. It is not fair that she is on this show.

So did anyone vote? I tried to call but kept getting a busy signal, so I voted once at abc.com. I really think Drew deserves this, especially based on tonight's performances. I don't think Stacy should win this competition because of her dancing background: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0445001/bio but really she was not the best dancer tonight anyway IMO.

Oh boy, I thought she wasn't due until March??

I really hope Drew and Cheryl win, especially after their freesytle "country" performance Thurs. night. Stacy was terrible compared to him? What happened to her final dance Thursday? Seemed like she just gave up!

I don't think she gave up per se, but I do think that she has problems (or maybe her partner did since he sets the choreography) with thinking outside of the box and showing her personality. I mean in all the other dances they are given strict guidelines of what they need to do because each specific dance has specific steps. However on a freestyle, you have to come up with creative choreography to showcase your personality and that just didn't happen on their dance. There wasn't a lot of creativity to it and just because she couldn't do lifts over the head doesn't mean they couldn't have done other types of interesting choreography (girl throught he legs, holding her at waste level in the splits like we saw others do earlier in the show, etc).

On the other hand, Drew and Cheryl's routine was very creative and not just the lifts. They took the music and did a great interpretation of it, from the begining to the end. You could tell that they really went for it and were having a lot of fun. After a season of being restrained in what you could do each week, Drew made the most of their freestyle, while Stacy's dance was lackluster. Again I will say that could have been Tony's fault, but regardless, it was definitely not the best preformance of the freestyles...in fact I would say it came in dead last.

I'm so glad Drew won! He really deserved it and I really think he was the best performer over all. I never really connected with Stacy's performances. They were good, yes, but they always seemed a little plastic to me. She said and did all the right things, I just didn't feel anything. It's the difference between seeing a performance and thinking it's technically great or being drawn into a performance and forgetting that you are watching a competition at all....just enjoying it.
