  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Romans 16:17-18 KJV

Paul is giving Salute and greetings much in this chapter and addresses the church.

Chapter 16 [chapters and verse #'s reported to be added by man, for ref.]
______________________________________________________________

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. [Acts 15:1] [1 Cor. 5:9]

18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ , but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

The book of James is often referred to as the "proverbs of the
New Testament" because it relates so much practical daily wisdom
for life. This Chapter is a great example of that in its dealings with
interpersonal relationships (4: 1-2), prayer (vv.2-3), the need for
spiritual commitment (vv. 4-5), an for spiritual humility (vv. 6-7).
It all comes to a head in verses 8-10 when we are challenged to be
spiritually pure. These practical truths continue to be important
reminders seeking to be effective Christians.
