I can fellowship with you regardless. Let it go. Let the Spirit of Truth show you truth. Nobody else can do that. Do not feel bound by what other people beleive or do not believe. It is up to God what you have and what you move on to. Let Him.I can't reconcile Jesus being "dead" spiritually, with Him preaching to the captives, making a show of them publicly. How can he do that, if He was "dead"? This is the one area, I can't reconcile myself being WOF. I heard Kenneth Copeland say years ago (now most of his teaching I like, but this one...NO way) that the devil dragged Jesus around hell, beat Him up etc. while He was in the grave. Not what the Bible says. Jesus made a SHOW OF him..I really tried to follow what Kenneth was saying, but..there was a huge check in my spirit about this.
No, the fact is that Yoda is posting for the simple reason of starting an argument.
He does not want to build up the forum and make it a place of encouragement and edification.
Well, let the trolls have the place... I have better things to do than argue with them.
I'd rather listen to dogs baying at midnight than continue more discussions with people who would rather tear down the Word and faith.

There is no way any born again Christian should agree with the wof teaching on this.
The wages of sin is death. That is the only principle of spiritual death in our bible. Sin has to be committed for spiritually death. It happened with Adam and Eve, and it happened with satan and his followers. There is no other description of spiritual death in our bible, period.
Jesus only offered up his blood and body for us, that is all.
Maybe you can explain this:
Isa 53:10-12
(10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
(11) He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
(12) Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Sounds pretty clear here... three times it says his soul was also an offering for sin... he poured out his soul unto death... and by the travail of his soul he would be satisfied.
Unless one is going to say "body = soul" then there is something more going on here than just a physical death.
All three of these words are the same Hebrew word, soul or soul-life. There is a separate word for spirit in the Hebrew, and it is not used here, as well as it is not used in any of the scripture sections you just posted.Lev 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh atonement by reason of the life.
