Your belief is in your interpretation of the Bible. Those who have actually studied God's creation without deliberately ignoring most of the evidence the way modern creation scientist do, know that either your intrepretation is wrong or that God is a liar who created an earth that looks old and created geologic and fossil records that could not have possibly have been created naturally by a worldwide flood and magically transported animals around the world after the flood to produce biogeography that could not have occured if the flood myth were true and magically altered the genetics of organisms so that most don't show genetic bottle necks 5000 years ago and magically created archeological records all over the world to make it appear that places had been continuously inhabited far longer than the flood myth would allow. I can see why God would want to hide the horrible crime of flooding the whole world if He had actually done it but then why did He have his chosen people write down a record?

It is how people interpret or view what's there that the earth has. I see tremendous evidence for a global Flood as plain as the sun, you see totally different. Everybody is entitled to their own view, interpretations and beliefes, which is what has resulted here.

i believe in the flood, creation, and the Bible. I disagree 100% with the Gap Theory, the Day Age theory and the Evolution theory. I am new here but am open to discuss these topics as i am as knowledgable a teenager i have ever met on this subject.

Then why can't you answer the questions I posed in the opening thread? If there is "tremendous evidence", then answering those questions should be a cakewalk.

There is NO evidence of a worldwide flood and you have certainly posted none. What you see it either evidence against the flood or evidence for local flooding events or just plain lies like the YEC claims about lack of erosion in the geologic record. If there really had been a worldwide flood you or some creationist should be able to tell us where it starts and stops in the geologic record, which is the point of this thread. You should also be able to explain how the flood created the fossil record, how it created features like paleosols, desert deposits and massive salt layers but you can't and neither can any other YEC.

You can go ahead a believe that God is a horrible monster who destroyed nearly all life on earth in a fit of pique because he bungled his creation and it didn't turn out the way he thought it should but if you think there is any scientific evidence for this belief you are seriously deluded.

I see what has been posted on this subject as confirmation, you see it as opposing.

Science is used by man/the world as a method for thinking and rationalyzing that there is no God, that everything just happened by itself.

That is blatantly false. There are many scientists that hold religious beliefs, including on these very forums.

Science is agnostic. It does not and cannot determine one way or another whether or not God exists.

Hmm, maybe I should address Job in it later. However if you take a look at Job, you will find out that it doesnt support a round earth either. Just a Chaotic nothingness outside of the dome of heaven.

Everything you have posted on this subject as supposed flood evidence has been easily refuted, or haven't you noticed? Some such as animal tracks are actually evidence against the flood and some such as your claims about lack of erosion in the geologic record are directly false. Meanwhile, many falsifications of the flood myth have been presented with no refutation or haven't you noticed?

We are still waiting for an answer to the point of the thread. Where does the flood start and stop in the geologic record? How is that creationists can't answer this question when the flood was supposedly a unique event that rearranged all the world's geology?
