I bought a bread maker at the OP shop for $15 bucks and buy bread mix. Save heaps on bread.

I ended up with $117 and my electricity was cut off and I lost my job. Too bad there's no option to join the military for college money.

I like this game. However, I think it's a bit unrealistic for so many bad things to happen in the course of a month, unless you're the world's most unlucky person. Also, why couldn't any happy things happen? Like, "You get your tax refund check for $2171."

I played this game the other day and thought about it a bit, but I don't know where you guys live but in my world a lot of the things they talk about don't cost that much freaking money.

Seriously what was the cost of the water bill? Like $150?? and the electric bill $200? In the worst months of summer we never paid $200 in electric bills and we don't even pay a freaking water bill because we pump our own water.

The cell phone bill, way too high etc etc.

Wow you guys suck, I passed that thing no problem.

But then again I type like 60 to 70 wpm average and thats after corrections.

In fact I type things faster then I write them, and thats one of the reasons I have the job I do. Because my employers know that they can write me a 3 page document and I can have it typed up on company letter head in less then 15 minutes.

Errr, yeah, the cost of living in Indiana is not even going to compare to the COL on the east coast, especially the northeast. A $200 electric bill in the summer, in a house with A/C, is NOTHING out here. Same with gas/oil bills in the winter. One more reason I hate living here and wish I could escape to the midwest, where there seems to still be some sanity.

My mom used to have one, I don't think they are much of a money saver really but they make bread that is better then what you would usually find in the store.

I'm not totally sure how it works, but I wouldn't look to it to save money. a loaf of bread costs a buck at the supermarket, I doubt a bread maker is really going to save you money.

Prices are cheaper out here but I should also add that the wages out there are kind of low. So there is a trade-off there.

Extremely simple!

For my bread maker:

1) Add water
2) Add wholegrain bread mix
3) Add yeast

Turn on and set - 3½ hours later you have fresh bread

An hour into the process you can optionally add other flavourings, like black pepper, chopped sundried tomato, parsley etc.

New Bread makers here in Aus can cost upwards of $300 - I was fortunate to find a working one in an OP shop for $15. Just have to keep your eyes open!

I think I paid $50 for mine on clearance at Walmart. I need to dig it out of the closet again. You can make pizza dough in it, too - which makes pizza night a whole lot cheaper than delivery....and tastier, too!

I'm a ferocious bread-lover, so maybe I should invest in one. Things to think about!

I see one at Walmart for $60. I'd have to buy about 30 loaves of bread for it to pay for itself (not counting the ingredients I'd need to buy to make the bread). I dunno. Maybe I should just buy bread.
