• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Could this generation of creationists be the last?

Evolution, in my opinion, will reach its pinnacle during the Tribulation period, then be falsified when Christ returns -- probably sometime in the Millennial Reign.
That's only if the FSM doesn't attack earth first, what am I saying? there could be millions of FSMs up there,
how would we know?

Religions thrive where ignorance is king.

Ever considered writing books? I'm sure you could become a hit sci-fi writer.
Looks like someone took your advice:

Hey, AV did you ever wonder if there is an office somewhere where all these atheists are employed who's only job is to go on forums and say the same things over and over again. You know sort of like Tele-atheists but instead of on the phone they are on computers. e-Atheists!! They also have rotating shifts and "newbies" in training. They don't need to know much science... just a little to make people think they do. I can just see their supervisors leaning over them (Richard Dawkins maybe) giving them pointers of what to say. I kinda picture it this way sometimes. I wonder how much they get paid? I also imagine that they are on commission too. The more strikes they get the more they make. That's why you'll see some who just don't stop. They are every where!!!

The Bible already says what's going on in the world and scientists don't even get first mention. They really have little effect on what is going on the world. The are just pawns in the big scheme of things.

You don't need anyone to prove that to you because you can find out the truth of that statement for yourself.

The US is fast becoming a third world country because of religion, (forget it's size and resources it's the people who are dragging it down) unless the statistics are wrong and only 20% (and not 80%) of Americans are religious, what do you think?

Religion is most prominent in areas where the educational standards are low, but you already know that don't you?

This is creepy, you're serious and you see nothing wrong with the question.
What is wrong with my question?
Other than scientific applications (including medicine) and knowledge of ancestry/relationships of life on this insignificant planet, what does ToE have to offer me that a six day creation doesn't?
(Getting back to topic, kind of.)

Well surely the scientific applications (including medicine) which has saved countless of lives is a rather large one?

Whether it's the movement or the individual, we will be around forever -- even when death is no more.

A Creationist started this universe, and He will end it as well.
You mean Creator don't you? It is not good to get the two confused.
