I think you should care. The more faithful people who are in full communion with Christ's Church, the better. No good (and a fair bit of bad) comes from disunity.

Protestants and scientologists would have to give up there faith and be converted to be catholic... the sspx are already catholic... but yeah i would love to see the world converted to christ

What we have to give up is ourselves our own wants and desires we have to conform ourselves to what God wants.
So while you may want an abortion or a homosexual relationship or whatever You conform yourself to Jesus who is truth... it dosnt matter what we want we have to crucify them and offer them as a sacracfice to God and once they are dead our hearts are free to want what God wants and so we are reborn in the holy spirit and ressurected wanting the same thing as God
