Coping skills is something that may define who we are. What you cope with I may struggle with and what I cope with you would struggle with. I say you would because only 1 in 10,000 people have to deal with Huntington's Disease.
How a person learns to cope with this mean disease can cause them to not be able to deal with much outside of what a day brings outside that disease. Or make them stronger than the average bear and deal with more... I never really spend much time thinking about this but today I did.
My faith has been made stronger in all this. Today when I see so many giving up on life , we do not know what they could not cope with but I have to ask if they went to God first. We all have different things to deal with and different levels of skills to deal with those things.
If we believe we are a child of God then we have to lean on Him , He is the only One that knows what we truly face in a day. 1 in 10,000 have Huntington's but of that 1 almost every person has different symptoms. So I can comfortable say I deal with something maybe no other human has had to deal with.
Maybe you do not face something so hard and rare but what you deal with seems just as hard. Do not try life without God at any level. We where made by our Creator and He knows the hairs on our head. That is hard for us to fathom because we do not even know the hairs on our head. I have felt and seen God take over when I really gave it to Him , it works. The trick is to really give it away because if we are still holding on , He will let us... I pray this helps someone that is struggling with anything and if it seems unbearable, that is the time to fall on your knees and ask God to take over... Know that he cares , feels our pain and loves us even when it feels like no one else does...If God is not sitting on the throne of your heart , clear the that throne and allow Him to rule over you...He does a much better job than we do at anything...
