Folks, I don't go for conspiracy theories, but I have to admit that this is a good one.
All over the web, people are complaining that they are being tricked or forced into upgrading to Windows 10. And, as is the case with every new Windows operating system, the home users are the pioneers in getting the problems worked out. It is unlikely that they will sue Microsoft, which blames them for the problems.
However, hospitals, fire departments, police departments, and businesses don't have the luxury of being shut down. They are often using XP. The ones using 7 or 8x often have an IT person with the ability to keep them off of 10. They will miss out on having their systems shut down because of glitches in a new OS. Service organizations are rarely the first to change to a new operating system. This is fine with MS, because they don't want to be sued. By forcing consumers to switch to 10, MS can get the bugs worked out safely.
