elm0 said:In the Salvation Army, each individual church/congregation is called a corps (pronounced core). Corps is a military term meaning a specialist group of soldiers, eg. Marine Corps. Not to be confused with corpse, which is a dead body. So cyber-corps translates to cyber-church.

Even to this day when i am asked what denomiation I am, I reply, I am a Salvationist. Of course sometimes I would get some weird looks then I would tell them, The Sal. Army. Nice to meet everyone!
