Out in the burbs you may find some more of the conservative comedians.

But the two "meccas" of stand-up comedy in the US have traditionally been NYC and LA. (Though I hear the comedy club Rogan opened in Austin, TX is doing some good numbers as are a few others down there, and it's starting to become a "scene" there in Austin)

I don't think NYC comedy clubs, late night, are going to be getting a ton of "stuffy older conservatives" showing up, unless they happen to be there on a weekend getaway to take the Mrs to the big city.

Can't say I've experienced the LA comedy scene, but I have for the NYC one.

At least at the time I was there (which was 2011-2012 if memory serves), I did hit the infamous Cellar that's on MacDougal, the "political comedy" was all seeming to go in one direction back then. The only "politically neutral" one was the night's headliner, Rich Vos, who was the one I wanted to see because I was familiar with him from the old Opie and Anthony radio show which I regularly listened to. A few of the "early" ones in evening were still trying to tell some George W Bush jokes despite him being out of office for a few years at that point "you ever notice how he looks like he's squinting like he's staring at the sun when he's thinking really hard" and another one doing a "conservatives are so uptight about gay people, yet they love wrestling which is just men getting sweaty with each other in speedos"... that kind of corny stuff lol. But Vos's set was good

I hope to see more led zeppelin, pink Floyd style musicians re-enter the culture after the death of woke. I want our white American outlaws back,
So you want to see a reemergence of the "American outlaw" style of rock music... by having a rebirth of British Psychedelic rock? lol

Perhaps Iggy Pop, the Ramones, or the MC-5 would've been better examples to use for that

MOD HAT ON

A small cleanup was needed to remove some posts flaming/insulting particular political groups. While it is okay to talk about who enjoys watching comedy, it is flaming to say that certain groups cannot handle it, in insulting language.
