  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Just got this as a Christmas present and after watching it, I have to say it's one of the best movies of the year. This film has strong acting from both Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise remarkably sheds his "all-American stud" nature and fits quite comfortably into the character of Vincent. The story is an impressive one as well. Not as good as Heat, but still great. Collateral is an adrenaline rush from start to finish.

10/10

I thought it was ok. It wasn't as spectacular (for me) as the reviewers say it was (for them). The story wasn't too original - hitman/psychopath with some unsuspecting person drawn into their ploy... I've read stories like that and I'm sure I've seen TV shows and movies similar to it.

I was really impressed with Tm Cruise. I'm use to seeing him as the "hero" of the flick. Seeing him as the villian was a pleasant surprise and he did a wonderful job at it! I thought Jamie Foxx did well too. I wasn't familiar with anything that he was in, so seeing him in this was new to me.

I thought the story line was really good too. Maybe I'm just dense, but in the beginning I really wrestled with whether Vincent was a good guy (a little misguided) or bad. And I really liked that.

Overall I would say 8/10.

I really like this movie! We got it on DVD this CHristmas too, so I'll be watching it again I'm sure. But I thought that it was fun to see Tom Cruise playing a bad guy. I always like when actors and actresses can play different roles and Tom Cruise proved that!
