  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
For those of you in Detroit, Michigan, Cliff is going to be on the PBS TV station there on February 28 at 9 PM. He may sing a few songs live and part of one of his videos is supposed to be played. Wish they would play that in my state. If you've never heard Cliff, now would be a great chance. He's going to be doing concerts in Great Britain in April and in the summer. He's going to do a free one in Portugal or somewhere soon I think.

Some People is on the album Always Guaranteed, but in the U.S. it can be found on The Cliff Richard Collection 1976-1994.
I guess Cliff was on in Detroit and a few people even got a chance to talk to him when they pledged! He sang one new song apparently from his Nashville album...from what I heard it sounded great. Well, I'm looking forward to getting that in the Fall. I would be thrilled if it was distributed here instead of having it come from England. The prices there are quite a bit as the pound is worth so much more than the dollar. I loved Some People too. It was from 1987. I enjoy 80's music myself.
