Clear contradictions

Hello. I am curious on why the bible contradicts itself and why Yeshua seems to go against his father sometimes. I do not understand how YHWH can say

Exodus 21
12Whoever strikes and kills a man must surely be put to death
14But if a man schemes and acts willfully against his neighbor to kill him, you must take him away from My altar to be put to death.
15Whoever strikes his father or mother must surely be put to death.
16Whoever kidnaps another man must be put to death, whether he sells him or the man is found in his possession.
17Anyone who curses his father or mother must surely be put to death.

But then also say
Genesis 9:6
Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind.

Exodus 20:13
You shall not murder.

And even Yeshua said

Matthew 19

…17“Why do you ask Me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 18“Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, 19honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

How can Yeshua go against the commandments of his father? Wouldn't that mean he was not who he claimed to be? am I missing something big here??? If the Law is perfect and unchanging like it was said how can we say it is not perfect and changed? And if this is in Exodus how come King Daniel was not killed after he took the life of another man?

From what I see it's all consistent, and to refrain from murder. Really he's warning us of our spiritual death as a result of our succumbing to the passions.

In this instance being "put to death" isn't a reference to being put to death in this world, but it's a reference to us being put to death for all eternity for committing these sins.

Christ affirms this in what you've quoted in Matthew.

John 17:14-15 I believe applies here as we as Christians are "in" this world, but not "of" this world.

God does not change. His methods may change. He shows mercy at times (David and Bathsheba) and judgement at others (Saul and Jonathon). Solomon could have lived much longer if he had obeyed God, but his life was cut short. Don't try to put God in a box. His ways are not ours and we do not have the capacity to understand Him.

Numbers 14:18
18‘The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion, forgiving iniquity and transgression. Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished; He will visit the iniquity of the fathers upon their children to the third and fourth generation.........

Superficially, it seems contradictory. God forgives yet punishes the guilty. God forgives those who repent of their sin, as He did with King Manasseh (2 Chronicles chapter 33). Those who remain in rebellion rob themselves of God's mercy.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is God in the flesh. If one does not start with this understanding then questions such as yours will follow. If you believe He is God in the flesh and He is in the Father and the Father is in Him, you will know that any and all laws were made by Him and any and all changes were made by Him.
All three time periods you posted were before the law, during the law and after the law.
We are now under the New Covenant and not under the law of the Old Covenant.

Did you compose your OP in the way you intended? Because I cannot find any contradiction.

The Bible has been around thousands of years, if it contradicted itself or had errors someone might have discovered that by now don't you think? Every time I think I have found something in error in the Bible I remind myself of what I just said and then I study more and find the solution to the problem that never existed.

This is the justice of capital punishment.
It is not murder, which is the unlawful taking of a life.
It is the lawful taking of a life in justice.

For we heard:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
‭‭II Timothy‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

All Scripture is not contradictory as you perceived. Why would God inspire to contradict Himself ? So it is not as you perceived.

Also, we heard Jesus Himself said:

“For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.”
‭‭John‬ ‭12:49‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Why would the Father who have spoken through Jesus, would speak against Himself? That doesn’t accord with what Jesus have said or what the Father have spoken through Jesus.

Beloved one, give yourself to be corrected through the Scriptures or the inspiration of God, that you may be instructed in accord to His righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

To God the Father be thanksgiving through Christ. Amen.

The Old Testament of the Bible speaks with perfect plainness
on the issue of capital punishment: “He that smiteth a man,

The scriptures show that Jesus Christ was the God of
the Old Testament. In the New Testament book of Romans,

Several things you need to see in Bible study, is that the OT is a different era and people; and beside showing history, Creation in Genesis 2 & 3, God is speaking to Israel, and most of that beside directions for their religion in obeying and trusting God, is prophetic of that to come.
Now in this dispensation of 'grace' since the coming of Jesus Christ --and His rejection and death by Israel's refusal to have Him, God is speaking to mankind in this new age of Grace.

We all now in this dispensation (era of revelation) need to appreciate and embrace the Gospels of Jesus Christ: Matt., Mark, Luke, John and see God's "so great salvation" as He says in His "--beloved Son": Jesus Christ. Be careful as you read and do not scramble Scripture. Israel and their religion has been set aside since they sought to kill their Messiah and demanded the Romans to do it (which they did); and which our Creator God allowed to bring salvation to you and all of us in His sacrifice.

While Israel will be restored after the Millennium reign of Jesus yet to come (and likely very soon) they must now come on the same ground as us today --in receiving God's gift of life in Jesus Christ (carefully read John 3; John 14; John 17; Romans 8; Galatians 3; etc. I hope you are found on that sound ground of faith in the Savior and walking with Him daily. Paul clearly states in Romans and other epistles that the O.T. still applies. Israel has not been set aside, instead all believers have been grafted into the tree representing Israel.

Apostolic teaching (as distinct from personal interpretation of prophetic riddles) disagrees with you.

The one olive tree going all the way back to Abraham is God's people (believers in the the Promise, Jesus Christ), both of the OT and the NT.

Except for a remnant, Israel has been cut off the olive tree of God's believing people (Romans 11:17, Romans 11:19-20) and has been hardened against saving faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 11:25).
Israel will be grafted back again into the olive tree of God's believing people if (not "when") they do not persist in unbelief (Romans 11:23).

Word for word is impossible understand, that's what. Modern American English is required to know what a verse means. Why do you think ancient British English Bibles were translated to real English?

I will never stop telling people only modern American English Bibles are accurate in a world where nobody uses ancient British English except for Bible reading.

Grammar and word meaning. Greek is an inflected language so word order does not matter as much as it does in English. While Subject-Verb-Object is common, it is not necessary.

Εγώ μελετώ ελληνικά. - “I study Greek.”
Ελληνικά μελετώ εγώ. - “Greek (is what) I study.”
The emphasis here is the word order. Is is more important that "I" am studying Greek or "Greek" is what I am studying?

Words may not translate directly into an English equivalent without missing various nuances. For example, John 1:1 "Logos" is translated as "Word". However, that misses the philosophical nuance of "Logos" being "Rational Word".
