  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Correction: Church on the Rock

I visited there this last sunday, and I can't tell you what an experience it was. You know, where you get "slammed" lovingly and you walk into a place and the feeling of excitement/peace/cleansing literally surrounds and fills you the second you set foot in? Well that was what it was like.

The music was awesome. The message made me cringe. (thats a good thing!) The most important thing to me is how a place worships, and this place is grounded on it. You have to get in a certain mindset and atmosphere...or create these....to really have the openness you need to recieve whatever your'e needing to hear that day. That's just me, and I loved it.

If your close by, go visit. I think you will truely be blessed even if you just go once. It's on south slide road. Big buiding/sign to the left. You cant miss it. They have services on saturday as well. Two on sundays, and something going on almost everyday of the week, I think. There were suits/ties and T-shirts. It doesnt matter people. Their logo is multi-generational/multi-cultural/multi-whatever. All are welcomed and I felt a part of that family as soon as I was walking up those steps.

Ok...I'm done. Check it out if you can!
