Ok i disagree about this thread being here because, alot of the christian punk bands I do know worship god when they play, so i think that makes it closer to praise and worship then ccm.... and it wouldn't be here if there was a christian punk section all its own.....

It's possible to worship God with any style of music or no music at all. Worship isn't even music - worship is a heart and mind fully devoted to Christ.

Frankly - I prefer to worship while listening to great guitar jams.
My favorites are:
Glenn Kaiser (the song Runaway Train on his Live CD SMOKES!!)

i havent really heard any christian punk music but i would like to, can anyone tell me some good bands....i love punk music but most punk music today is very trashy.


I love switchfoot!!! especially the song meant to live!! what genre are they i dont actually know??

awesome to see this thread here! fully agree that you can worship God however, and wherever, especially for me through music, whether soft acoustic, or punk. Havent' really heard much Christian Punk but will definately be looking up some of these artists. Bit low on dosh at the moment, so are there any you would particularly recommend. I'm more of an acousitcy person, but really like Switchfoot stuff, so i guess something like that...any ideas?
