  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello, We had about 2" on rain yesterday. A little more today with a lot of wind. They are saying we could get snow showers Sat. & Sun. Can anyone tell me WHAT HAPPENED TO SPRING?

Thank all of you for your traveling prayers for me. I've arrived at our little cottage in the south and enjoying the nice warm weather. Rain is in the forecast for the next couple of days, but the drought here has been brutal, so rain is welcome. Prayers for all the Eagles.

I hear ya. We still have lots of snow on the mountains and it has been colder than normal. Today is supposed to be warm and so far the sun looks great but it is still only 8:15 am so not that warm yet. Jan

You all sound very busy with vacation and family coming home. I hope you both are having a good time. Msdance it is raining here too but we need it so I can't complain. Hopefully warm spring weather is in your future and just around the corner!!
I have been gone for awhile and some of you look Marvelous in your victorian dress! I am honored to be chosen as a judge----it's going to be a difficult decision. I better head for bed. Night all.

I'm glad I'm not a judge. It's going to be very hard to decide who looks the best.
It's still raining and about 34 and w indy. Sure doens't feel like Spring.

Good morning everyone!! A big thank you for all the advice and participation in the Victorian Dressup Contest!! Wow, everyone looks so nice!! It will be more than hard to come up with the winning list when the day comes (May 6). I've never done anything like this before and really appreciate how much work is involved but I have to say I realllllly look forward to logging in and seeing how beautiful all the characters are! Praying for a blessed day for all the Eagles.

I hope that you are all feeling the warm rays of the sun today. It is a little chilly here, but the sun is shining. It might get into the 70's by Thursday. I hope so.

Seems like we all have been busy with family and home.
That is a good thing. We have started to work on the garden when it hasn't been too cold outside. My hubby works out there and I will work inside. Team work, it's the best way to get it all done quickly.
