Hello Beloved Golden Eagle Friends
Just a quick note to tell you that I will be taking leave from CF and GE 50+ for a while.
The Lord is calling me to spend more time with Him, our family and some old school mates on FB, and especially to enjoy retirement with my beloved Hubby.
You have been such a blessing to me the past 5 years; be assured you will all be in my thoughts and prayers
Feel free to PM me any time to say hello or if you have a prayer need; my door is always open to you!
Until we meet again ~ God bless you
Gail
Our paths will cross again
Good Friends, while they may fade away
the memories they leave behind will stay
May God go before you
walk beside you
and follow you throughout your journey
God bless you and your's, dear Sister Gail
your Brother in our Lord Jesus

We will miss you, but you will be in my heart, I agree with what Bro Dave said. Amen and Amen.
Hugs
Susie
Hi Susie
We are grateful for everyone's prayers
Mary is [PTL] full of good cheer and is persistent ~at persevering
this-morning for example, she managed to eat
two pieces of bacon and, some skinless sausage [as it comes]
ie: without mincing in the processor
She can also manage biscuits and moist cake
I feel that we are on a learning-curve
~finding what she can tolerate [without-processing into mush]
The more she nibbles at... AND the more often, that she does that
will reduce the nourishment that she may become deprived of
We are hoping
that as the chemo treatment progresses, she will, become better able
to swallow foods that have become 'such a steep hill', for her to-climb
and so.... regain some weight
Mary has shown no sign, of energy loss / lethargy
which would 'indicate' that she was 'giving-up and, succumbing' [?]
Mary is 'watching' her weight on the scales ~willing them to show improvement
and every little 'gain' she announces, gets praise from me
and also encouragement ~to snack on anything and everything
The cupboards and fridges contain many different items of desserts and soups
and we have so much Dietary Supplementary foodstuffs
~from the pharmacy
that we could run our own shop for a week, at-least
Plus, chocolates, sweets, ice-cream and seven different cereals
We are in His hands.....
ETA: Mary is happier, now that she is able to keep [what she has eaten] down
and hasn't needed, to resort to the anti-nausea meds since the second day [after the chemo infusion]
The chemo treatment CONTINUES in tablet-form twice each day
AND, while there remains some 'echoes' of the earlier nerve-endings sensitivity [post chemo treatment]
it is more-tolerable / less of a nuisance factor
your Bro'
dave
That is wonderful news, I will continue to pray.
Wonderful news...amen!!!!!!
