Hello oldies-but-goodies and fellow newbies out there. Just thought I'd stop by for a chit-chat with some of you.
Been reading *a lot and there's certainly a lot to read around here. I've already met brinny, what wonderful person and nice welcome she gave me.
Thought I'd share the wonderful News of Christ with you in my spare time and enjoy reading others. I work at home, so I take these little breaks once in a while and like to log in with like minded brothers and sisters.
I live in beautiful New England in a humble Cape Cod Cottage with my family. Love to cook, garden and decorate.
Lately, I've been doing some much needed cleaning out of my basement...way overdue. I feel good when I get my house nice, clean and organized and it makes the hubby very happy too.
The weather has finally started to cool down a bit and I've been able to turn off the AC and throw open the windows allowing that wonderful fresh air and breeze to blow through.
The leaves are beginning to change now with the warm days and cool nights. Hopefully we'll have a very colorful autumn this year and go leaf peeping in the mountains here in New England.
I have pumpkins growing in the backyard, they're almost ready for harvest too. I can't wait because this is the first year I've actually been successful in growing them.
Fall festivals are all starting to happen around our area. We love to go to those too.
Well, that's about it for now. Hope everyone else is enjoying the cooler weather and doing well.
