Seems that Skunks live under my husband's workshop every winter. Since he loves all animals, he doesn't seem to mind. I love animals, too, but when the huge whiff seeps through the walls, I open the door and peek out gingerly before stepping out....

The mama seems to give a new baby reign over our property each year, but they are always respectful of us; rarely spraying (if ever).
That is a blessing, because the family has not been as loveable to the neighbors across the street

I wonder what the skunk knows about the neighbours?

When our little Alfie was alive, he just never learned to keep away from them, always went back for more perfume! It wasn't funny then, but it is now.

Hubby was treated to a yummy (takeout) haddock dinner tonight from a local restaurant we love it was so nice to see him enjoy it!

Let's just say that the skunk is right...and on our side re: them

I am grateful none of my dogs have been sprayed ...and I pray Penny never is

That more rain I talked about - we got it - 5 inches worth in about 4 hours. Sadly, many areas were flooded, but there are no injuries or fatalities that I've heard of. (no flooding where we live) We're waiting to hear what all of the run-off does to our municipal water supply, but I suspect that it's near capacity now. Yeah! - Thank you Lord.
