Our knight in shining armor, defending the fnancial solvency of the 99%, is an unlikely hero--Charles Koch, financier of almost every Republican legislator in the country.

He's suing over tariffs. What great news! Trump's obedient legislators, voting in lockstep with his every wish, will now have to decide: "Who will I vote with? The president, who is becoming more unpopular by the hour but who could threaten to primary me, or Charles Koch, whose deep pockets have kept me in Congress for years?"

Of course, they'll choose Koch, and hopefully take back their rightful power to rescind the tariffs!

And so even in the unlikely event that the Courts would rule against Koch's eminent common sense, the politicians he's financed for generations will abandon Trump.

This is the first good economic news I've heard in weeks!

I would not be so certain of that. They will choose him once it becomes more politically expedient, not before.

Section 8: Powers of Congress
What part of the constitution does the president(s) lean on to support its tariff power?

Or did congress at some point (unconstitutionally) transfer that power to the executive branch?

The real problem is the latest SCOTUS defers to presidential power regardless what the constitution says. It's like they need to be reminded why the founding fathers left England and created separation of powers.
