  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

if you want a blog on your homepage all you have to do is start one in the blog forum and it will automatically display the newest post on your profile page

there is some way to do screenshots with microsoft but I don't know how I'm using snagit which is a shareware program and really easy to handle...you can download it for free just google it

the contest is still open till the 9th of September....will post the entry in the subforum when I get on done guess it's not gonna be half as good as a few of the ones I've already seen around though

You're graphics are great, be a proud Christian, and we'll vote for ya!!! Erwin said he wants it to be so that it would be something a unchristian person would see and want to come and try the forums(oh ya and has to have pets in)(what I say hehe). so you can do it yea team!!!

from the various surfing I did over the last couple days I have picked up some neat graphics and pics. I wil start adding them to my pics thread in pets public section as soon as I have uploaded them into my photo bucket!!

Thanks to Gregged I am learning all sorts of new stuff this week. It is amazing that I have been here 7 months and there are still lots of stuff to learn about the tech controls we already have let alone what is yet to come.

anywys I want to let Gregged know that his support here is much appreciated for his willingness to help with techie stuff and for teaching me how to apply an image to the reps comment text box (if using Photobucket simply copy the code if using another format you simply need the http address with a [IMG] before and after it) thanks a bunch Gregged. he also explained to me how to add the smileys by typing in the code. in my appreciation and in giving myself practice with this I created a chart and am sharing it here for anyone that may also find it useful. I was able to do this only because he also taught me how to capture an image (or in this case a chart) and add it to my photobucket to be able to post it elsewhere. Thanks again....cant tell you how much gratitude I have for the extra help!!

here is the chart with our smileys and thier codes if you find yourself needing to know them (for reps box or any other place {blessings box to bless someone maybe?})
