I must say that I did quite enjoy the silver coloured skin that CF had available last year...whether it's on the drawing board for a return is unknown to me though. As for the other more pertinent aspects being considered, I fully trust that Erwin will have the interests of every member in mind as he implements any new features.

And, there are many people on CF who they don't represent. If I didn't say otherwise, then it might be assumed that I am willing to be represented by this vocal minority. I'm not.

this thread attracts more people in favor of moderating of the mods then detractors to this dandy principle. It would appear YOU are in the vocal minority.

I dunno what changes are going to be made, but they ought to include some kind of relaxation on trying to moderate "outside" CF.

I've been threatened with bannings/warnings for stuff I've done outside CF. That's just not something a forum should do. I'm not going to badmouth it. Just suggest that that kind of stuff definitely needs reform.

There are LOTS of members not complaining at all. One could safely deduce it's because they don't have a problem with the moderating or if they do it's not something that they let run their lives. THEY are in the majority.

what!?! What!?!

RF posts: I like to wear no shoes in my back yard sometimes, when the dog needs to go out & I can't find my shoes.

overzealous reporter: How offensive! *hits report*

overzealous mod: Official warning issued: disrupting standards of common decency & good taste: don't do such horrible things as that, rf, that's disgusting & private information! Here's a month off, you nasty troll. Use the time to clean your pigsty house & maybe you'll find your shoes, lazy!

is that what happens?!?! Yikes! Good thing generic bland greeting card sentimsents are all that are allowed to be posted here!

no, one couls safely deduce that they fear complaining, given the sheer number of thread deletes & warnings given to people who protest injustice in a thread.

This is as wrong as the day is long and should not ever happen. You are not alone in being subjected to this either.
Even Erwin has stated this much. Did you know that?

Or maybe this is the majority of posters that don't have a problem cause they don't violate the rules ??
No one can safely deduce anything. It is all speculation.

I know many people here that have been here since CF started and have never gotten a edit request or anything. It all depends on how the member wants to post.

With all due respect, reformedfan, I am unsure whether this is an accurate representation of a typical reporting/staff action procedure. If it was though, I can't see why it would have been appealed and the appeal upheld.

Forget skins. I'm going to make it so that users can specify their own background colors etc. Total custom to each user.

I don't care about skins, I'd like to be able to post as myself without getting busted. Maybe you could start a forum for only people who have gotten warned for their STYLE of posting?

just trying to figure out something cryptic, thinking out loud, so to speak.
