  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, that's the one song I skip when I listen to it.
I thought it was interesting to note that out of all the songs on their CD, that was the only one that didn't have the Bible verses that the song was based on printed in the front-cover booklet by the lyrics. The rest of the song, you can look up and read Scripture supporting the song... but that one has no reference given.

Hmm,

I went to Wal-Mart and saw their Live from Atlanta CD so I got that instead. The CD only has 5 of their songs off their debut album that they performed live. The 6th is a bonus song "Beautiful Savior" done live also. I haven't checked out the contents of the DVD though but it has the music video for "American Dream" on it which is my favourite song by Casting Crowns.

i LURVE "who am I" !!!! when i first heard that song on our christian radio over here i jumped immediately onto the net to hear it again..and again...ive got the CD now and i love it. my friend is planning to use that song at her baptism next year. i think that it is perfect. its up there with "imagine" and nicole nordimans, "why"....GREAT song.
