You can hate the sin, you cannot hate the sinner because if he is not a believer he is under the influence of Satan, but he is still a child of God and there is forgivness availabe for him. The best thing you can do to them is show love towards them.
If there's a fire and you want to put it out, do you use a flame thrower to do it, or do you use water?

Didn't Jesus say you must hate to be a Christian?

If any one comes to me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.
—Jesus (Luke 14:26)

I believe the context involved is that of choice. If we have to choose between Christ and family, we must choose Christ. If you look at the parallel passage in Matthew, it says "If you love father or mother, etc., more than Me, you are not worthy to be disciples." (Matthew 10:37).

Really? I didn’t think so but if you say so. Ok , I thought we are to speak the truth. Since when are we to not offend any one? God bless and thank you for the warm welcome.
(emphasis mine).

Lu 17:2 - It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

ephesians 4:14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Ro 14:19 - Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.

Ac 20:32 - So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Pr 15:26 - The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord, But the words of the pure are pleasant.

Pr 16:24 - Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.

1Ki 22:13 - Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, "Now listen, the words of the prophets with one accord encourage the king. Please, let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak encouragement."

Col 4:6 - Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Do you know there is a very, very thin line between love and hate? I tell people, you can not hate someone for which you do not care. Do you understand what I'm saying? If you feel indifference toward a person or his feelings, you care nothing for him, therefore you can not hate him. If you feel such deep rage and (what we call) hatred in your heart, it can only be because you care for that person, and they have intentionally or unintentionally done something that has hurt you deeply.

Wow. I can't believe someone would ask this. Are you trying to find a way to justify hate towards people? Asking that question is like asking, "Am I allowed to be a theist and not believe in God?" Well, since it goes against the very definition of theism, no. And the definition of Christianity, if it is anything, is love. So no, if you are a Christian I don't see how you would want to hate others.
