calling Dr Who fans

Hi all,

I hve come accross at least two fans of Dr Who on here and wondered if there were more on CF. If so this is the place for you.

I hope to set up an online group of Who fans here on CF if there are enough of us of course. Since I dont know who is and is not a fan I'm putting this out.

All i ask is that you post if you are interested or a fan

For the record
I liked Tom Baker (4th Dr) the best
My Fav companion was Ace
Favorite bad was the Valeyard cos he was bad
Fav story had to be "Stones of Blood" those Ogri had me having nightmare for a long time
I have several autographs from actors and when I can go to some of the conventions. My Mother also knitted me a good ish scarf!

Oh yeah! Watched it through two or three times already. I love the Kroll one. With the swamp people, mining corp guys,and the huge cracken thing.

Anyone in the Virginia/Marylands Area should get it on PBS. What's really cool, is a month or two back, they started playing them from the beginning!

They show them here on satellite tv if you get it, TOm Baker gets quite a good showing. I here there is talk of a new Dr Who in 2005 with a new Doctor. I read some of the books too for a while but its not quite the same thing.

Dr. Who Fan here!

My favorite Doctor, besides Tom Baker, is Jon Pertwee. I've always loved the gadgets he used.
Favorite villain would have to be Lord President Borusa from "The Five Doctors"
Favorite story again "The Five Doctors" seen it so many times I practically can quote it.
Favorite Companion: Can't really say, because all have at least one annoying quality.

I've heard about the New Doctor Who series to come out. I'm not sure if I should be positive or not. After what John Nathan-Turner did to the character in the last two seasons of the series, I'm not sure if I'm anticipating or dreading the new show.

Ah memories memories, of John Pertwee fighting the daleks back in the sixties and seventies. I'll never forget the time at schooll the day after the episode when one of the daleks got his top half knocked off and we all got to see the creature inside. It was the hot topic all day lol
