I am definately called to become a pastor, people have been telling me for years. I feel that the church i am in now is where God wants me to be for a while. I think it might be best to attned a part-time online seminary while remaining involved in this church and other ministries i have here. SO what are some good online seminaries, not for a particular denomination but for being strongly focused on God's Word as the center for their teachings. I would also like some tips for things to study in my quiet time that would help prepare me for additional ministry. Most of my current ministry has been youth and Bible Study leading. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer me.

I noticed that you are a United Methodist. You may want to discuss this with your pastor and D.S. Some annual confs. require you to only attend a seminary that is approved by the Board of Higher Education. If this is the case, Asbury Theological Seminary has an online degree program. It is among the most conversative of all the United Methodist approved seminary's. The main Seminary is located in Kentucky, they also have a satelite location in Florida. However they are fairly expensive. You can find their contact information at the UMC web page.
