  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nice, I have not heard this one before. 1980s music is good, and it is a bonus that this song is Christian.

1980s had great cars, good TV and good movies.

The song selections on her collected works I always found a bit puzzling and somewhat disappointing, especially the so called "definitive collection" (2007) that has only one song from The Turning on it (which was probably the most distinctive and mature of her first 4 albums). And seems to lean toward the softer tracks from her oeurve. How do they arrive at these selections, I wonder do they ask the artist for their input? In my view the 'Definitive Collection' isn't anything of the kind and having only 10 tracts isn't worth the money. Recollection has 15 tracks but is still missing iMO at least 3 or 4 classic Leslie Phillips songs, such as The Turning, God is watching you, Hourglass, and Gina?
