i was just wondering if anybody could give me some book suggestions on, well, "why Lutherans do what they do"....i've read "the spirituality of the cross", which was excellent, and i attempted to read "the fire and the staff", which was really good, what i could decipher, i just couldn't get into it....
i'm basically looking for something that isn't so "textbook-y", if that makes any sense....i haven't been a Lutheran that long - out of any church i've ever gone to this is the closest i have ever felt to God, and i guess i'm curious to figure out why this is....
any suggestions anybody has for me is most welcome!!
