blogging scripture helps me remember it in my heart and head. that brings me peace. it's very helpful to me. alot of people write me and thank me for just putting scripture. they say it helps them too.

A blog is helpful to me, though I can only write in it when I'm moved, but it helps me to vent, to write when I'm down or up. I just try to write my own psalms, because it helps me so much. I hope you find great blessing in starting a blog. Bless you, Tapero

Hi Lemonflavor

I think writting/typing your thoughts in any form can be very theraputic. Not only are you getting the thoughts out of your mind and "into" the open...you can look back from time to time to see how far the Lord has brought you.

I used to write out my thoughts, fears, desires, etc... addressed to Jesus. It was like writting my Best Friend about where I was at that time. Writting Someone who knows me best.

I haven't started a journel since I was lifted out of the depths of dispair. I was waiting till I "got to where I want to be in life"...I then realized, to wait till that time, starting a journel would never happen. This is my goal tho Lemonflavor, because when I was writting...it was a releasing of the burdens and joys of my heart.

It's not that I want to disagree with you ~B~, considering it's your Birthday Month and all ,but... you should write where you are at the moment. If it is 'negative' as you say, write that ...when you have a positive thought/thoughts then enter them

What do you think of that?

Journaling is just that...writting down our thoughts, no matter what they are. I'm glad you can be honest when you blog ~B~

Blogging is helpful.
I will admit I didn't see the point of it at first but I helps at times. Sometimes I'm so frustrated and pent up that I can't get words out and all I can do is get an artistic representation that ministers to my situation, that says what I feel or that gives me hope. So alot of my Blog entries are pictures that tell stories, that are my journal.

Blogging is theraputhic because it's freedom to express what's happening.

I journal on paper more often though. I have kept a diary for about 11 years and that really has been theraputic. It actually was used by my pdoc 2yrs ago when he found out about my passion for writing. He gave me exercises in which I'd write whatever was on my mind the first thing when I woke up on mornings. He called them morning pages and they give a pretty good sense of what's happening internally and of your outlook on the rest of the day.

Great that you started a blog lemonflavor! I pray that it brings you enjoyment, peace and clarity.
