I recently lost 3 pounds during a behavior modification project and I was down another pound this morning. I don't actually know what the heck I weigh right now because both scales in my house say different things, but both scales showed a 4 pound loss. I'm hoping those stay off and that I can lose a few more before July 6th when I go to try on wedding dresses.
I'm also really trying to get back into the habit of exercising because I had to stop (per doctor's orders) working out completely for several months. Last week I exercised 5 times with swimming, which I consider very light exercise, but it is a good way to start back. Now I just need to work myself back into other things, like the elliptical and strength training and such.
Wii Fit is also what I've been using lately, but I find the weight calculation is extremely inconsistent.Just to let you know Melissa, Swimming, according to fitness experts, is considered a high level exercise. On Wii Fit, when you declare the extra exercise you do, swimming is multiplied by 1.5 for the amount of time you swam.
According to my friend's scale, I have gained 30 pounds since January.
I am in big time need of losing weight. I feel that I have let myself slowly start slipping into a funk again... I find myself just sitting in my house and doing nothing at all when I am not working and such. I need to find some way to motivate myself to get healthy... not because I am so much worried about my physical appearance, but I really don't want to die at such as young age because of my weight issues.
