Zero Point Energy Manipulator aka Gravity Gun in Half-Life 2. Nothing like picking up random objects lying around from radiators, toliets, boxes, tables, exploding barrels, car engines, and other people, and hurling them at baddies.

My controller character in City of Heros has gravity control and throws things like that.

In City of Heros they have come up with new baddies that throw dwarfs at you. . . I want that power on my toon!!! He throws the dwarf who then attaches himself to your neck with his legs and pounds on your head for about 10 seconds before he expoldes! It is so funny! Here are some screenshots from the other day when my husband and I were playing.

So many weapons, so little time.

In a game, I would have to say the tactical weapon used in the final level of Act of War: Direct Action was nice. Of course, anything used for the purpose of mass destruction towards your enemies is cool in a game. It is especially nice if you have a weapon capable of destroying an entire planet.

Any gun like a BFG (Doom, Quake) or a Redemmer (UT); they seem to have the most firepower out of any game I've encountered. One shot... all die... even if you miss, lol. But they can take the fun out of a game I would have to admit.

My favourite however, would have to be something up close and personal... like a Flak Cannon or a Chainsaw. Too many to choose from to decide on one particular one.

The chaingun type weapons, for the maximum use of the cheap/readily available ammo. I was always fond of the scout's weapons in BF42. The sniper rifle and the ability to call in artillery if someone with half a brain was on the big guns.

Personally, I go for long-distance calls. In Far Cry, I'm able to use the M4 as a sniper rifle, sans scope. In Deus Ex (the first one), I use the sniper rifle or the pistol (though, compared to other games, the weapons in that one suck). In James Bond (take yer pick), I'm used to their sniper rifles; I especially like armor-piercing rounds.

Far Cry is by and large my favorite game, simply because of the graphics

I liked the mini crossbow with poison darts in Deus Ex 1. My name means good archer in Old English. I am disabled and play games one-handed, so go figure. LOL. Even though it is a very popular game, I never really enjoyed playing Far Cry.
