I like Vicious from bebop cause he was... cool. The meanest badguy I have ever seen was Gendo Ikari from Evangelion. He was perfectly willing to sacrifice his own son to further his own goals and saw other people as pawns to be used.
yes vicious was pretty cool

Id have to say Brolly from the dragonball z movies. Notice no one on their own was able to defeat brolly, only when they all had their powers combined. And this wasnt just once, but it took multiple efforts working together to defeat brolly 3 times!!! Brolly is truely the baddest of the baddest, existing on pure rage alone, on the brink of insanity. I mean comon people Brolly was screaming in pain because his body had so much power that he had to shoot out energy to keep from his body being destroyed.

I'd have to say either Bakura (Yami Bakura), from YuGiOh, because he really know's he's the enemy and tries to cause trouble, but he really has emotions deep inside him and does care for Ryou (plus he has a sad past, which is always a nice bonus ), or James, from Pokemon, because he's the absolute, undisputed most pitiful bad guy in the history of tv (anime or not); he tries to be evil, but always messes up or ends up feeling guilty or something, besides, he's kawaii!!! One of my favorite James quotes is, "We're all evil in our own dysfunctional ways."

Oh, or Malik (not his yami) from YuGiOh. He's not necessarily a bad guy in and of himself, his yami is the truely evil one, but Malik hangs out with Bakura a lot and he can be a bit of a trouble maker (even when not possessed by his yami). As previously stated, I like characters with sad pasts, also, and I just plain like Malik. He is, in and of himself, really a very neutral character, not a bad guy but somewhat antisocial; he's tempermental and sad, but not truely evil. He's a lot like Bakura and Ryou mixee together. (Don't mind my long Malik speeches... )

Yes, there are many. Sora's the only one I don't agree with. Besides that, we have Vicious from Cowboy Bebop, the younger Toguro from Yu Yu Hakusho, Bakura from Yu-Gi-Oh!, Kid Buu from Dragonball Z, Rico from the movie Home on the Range, and my head's beginning to hurt.
